Frédéric Edelmann, born in Paris in 1951, in 1977 starts to work for «Le Monde», after having studied humanity and archaeology. In 1985 he works for the exhibition «Architecture de Chicago», together with Ante Glibota (director of Paris Art Center). In 1990, he receives the Grand Prix de la critique architecturale. He has also been president of the association Patrimoine sans frontières.
