The FMGxtreme designs reflect the future of architecture, expressing the unique and dynamic relationship between the world of design and that of production. A genuine meeting of "matter" and "creativity", a pairing that merits our attention. FMG and Luca Molinari present their contribution on June 30th, as part of the XXIII UIA World Congress of Architecture Torino 2008: LOT-EK, Italo Rota, Cibic & Partners address the topic, together with other studios and clients who have realized important projects together with FMG. STUDIO DESIGN INTERNATIONAL (London) for the design of a shopping center in Mondovì (CN) WILSON & ASSOCIATES (Singapore) for the design of a wellness center in Macao (China) ARCH. MAGNUSSTAAHL (Stockholm) for the design of a residential unit in Stockholm STUDIO PAPIRI (Rome) for the design of a wellness center in Rome DIR. TECNICA GRUPPO S. DONATO for the design of several clinics in Milan Exhibit (Lingotto, area outside Pavilion 3) curated by Luca Molinari. LOT-EK (New York), Italo Rota (Milan), Cibic & Partners (Milan), three of the most innovative, cutting-edge studios on the international scene, present eco-sustainable micro-environments in a futuristic key, featuring extreme interpretations of the most radical and advanced concepts of contemporary architecture using the precious and eco-sustainable materials produced by FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti. Cibic& Partners (Milan) a tunnel-gallery built using prestigious FMG materials: an installation with powerful visual impact, previously on display at the Milan Furniture Fair's Fuori Salone '08. LOT-EK (New York) the environment is a compact entity, a monolith split by a canyon that reveals the "heart" of the matter Italo Rota (Milan) matter returns to its origins. The components of FMG's marble and granite come back to life in the "mineral" walls and the central area, whose primordial eye gazes at the future.
