Ilari Aho, Marketing Manager, is responsible for Uponor Corporation's global business development with property developers, building owners and construction service providers. He has a master's degree in mechanical engineering and has more than 15 years of experience of business development, R&D and product development in the fields of radiant heating and cooling, low energy buildings and renewable energy forms. Ilari played a central role in the development and implementation of PromisE, a Finnish building environmental assessment system, and as a part of this role has also represented Finland in the Green Building Challenge process. Ilari has served as President of EⁿR (the European Energy Network), President and Board Member of iiSBE (International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment) and an Alternate Board Member in ECEEE (European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy).
