Simeon Bruner
Simeon Bruner has over thirty-five years experience in architecture and construction. He is known for his creative design and for his expertise in the adaptive reuse of historic buildings. A Founding Principal of Bruner/Cott, Mr. Bruner is responsible for client interface throughout the entire design and construction process. His special areas of concentration are schematic design and design development, as well as bidding and negotiation and construction administration. In addition to his work at Bruner/Cott, he is the founder of the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence, a nationally recognized award for urban architecture. Mr. Bruner was Principal-in-Charge of significant projects such as MASS MoCA and Landmark Center, among others. He is currently the Principal-in-Charge of 45 Province Street, a 31-story condominium in downtown Boston, the Wadsworth Atheneum expansion in Hartford, CT, and the new Safra Center for the Arts at Brandeis University. Mr. Bruner ran his own construction firm for several years, and is the President of affiliated building managment and development entities.
