The ART BOOK LINGOTTO book shop offers, on the occasion of the XXIII UIA World Congress, books by international publishing houses, to peruse, touch and decant, displayed on large tables for easy and constant access to the volumes offered for sale. The selection focuses on trends in contemporary architecture and design. At 5 p.m. (on the days of the congress) some recently published books exploring issues pertinent to the status and role of contemporary architecture will be presented.

On the occasion of the XXIII World Congress of Architects, held in Turin on June 29 - July 2, 2008, a special series of 100 pieces of the module of architectural construction in foam rubber, designed by Bruno Munari in 1989, will be produced.
Similar to the Architecture Box MC N.1, designed by Munari in 1945, this set consists of a series of differently shaped and colored "blocks", which can be assembled in a wide range of structures, this time in soft foam rubber.
Presented for the occasion by both Corraini Edizioni and Fabio Castelli, the game will be available at the ART BOOK LINGOTTO book shop in the Lingotto Oval Pavilion, where architects and the general public can try out their ideas on the tables and among the books.
