Free admission until capacity: "Afterville. Tomorrow comes today" promotes an off-Congress event. On July 2, it will be possible to view "Afterville. The Show. From Metropolis to Afterville", a video installation tracing a century of science fiction cinema, with an original soundtrack composed for the occasion and performed live by Post@l_market (Casasonica).
The same fascinating structures of the ex OGR will host the screening of "Afterville. The Movie". Promoted by the Film Commission Torino Piemonte and shot by a pair of directors, Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro, with a special guest appearance by Bruce Sterling, the short film - which was seen by an audience of over 1,500 in its national premiere, on April 16 - follows a pair of characters on the day before the end of the world for humanity, in 2058.
